A FEW WORDS ON HOW WE SUPPORT GENDER EQUALITY IN NESS

It goes without saying that a good IT company cannot prosper without women. Over 30 % of Nessians are women, which is welcomed not only by our project colleagues, but also our customers.

Ness women play crucial roles on all our projects. You can meet them in our headquarters in Prague, but also at branches in Brno and Ostrava. That is where we have the strongest JAVA team that works on projects for O2, state administration or the Austrian news agency APA. Recently, this team started to cooperate with the nonprofit organization Czechitas.

That is where we have the strongest JAVA team that works on projects for O2, state administration or the Austrian news agency APA. Recently, this team started to cooperate with the nonprofit organization Czechitas.

The workshop was led by our corporate trainers (Vláďa Kočur, Radek Porazil, Martin Jurášek) and the participants were enthusiastic, motivated and highly skilled. The event was very successful, and because these women have shown an active interest in a long-term JAVA seminar, we have decided to continue these workshops.

In autumn 2018, we will continue our Digital Academy in Ostrava. The two-and-a-half-month course will be divided into 18 blocks and end with a full-day hackathon, where students will develop their own projects under the guidance of experienced mentors.
